Second-year students continue their scientific activities as part of the Physiology module.
In a move designed to enhance the quality of academic achievement, second-year students in the Department of Physiology organised professional oral presentations for the Physiology module, demonstrating their in-depth understanding of complex biological processes.
The sessions were characterised by fruitful scientific discussions and highlighted
the physiological and pathological aspects of multiple sclerosis.
This activity reflected the students’ deep understanding of neurobiological mechanisms, as they discussed detailed topics including: the disease’s effect on the myelin sheath of nerves, the symptoms associated with the disease, and methods of treatment. The presentations were characterised by a high level of academic engagement and visual aids that demonstrated the students’ competence, research skills and public speaking abilities.
