On Monday, 14 September 2026, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gharyan welcomed the members of the Ministerial Committee tasked with evaluating academic and administrative performance, as part of the Committee’s visit to the University to review the progress of the educational, academic and administrative processes at the Faculty, assess performance levels, and evaluate compliance with approved standards and regulations.

The committee was received by the Dean of the Faculty, along with a number of members of the teaching staff and administrative and technical staff at the Faculty. The Dean welcomed the committee members, commending their efforts and their commitment to supporting and developing higher education institutions and raising the standard of academic and administrative performance.

The visit included an inspection of various academic and administrative aspects and the Faculty’s facilities, as well as a review of a number of relevant files and documents, alongside the working procedures in place and their compliance with approved standards and regulations.

The Faculty of Medicine affirmed its full readiness to cooperate with the committee and to provide all necessary data, information and facilities to enable it to carry out its duties and accurately assess the reality of the educational, academic and administrative processes at the faculty.

This visit forms part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s efforts to enhance the quality of performance in higher education institutions, establish a culture of institutional evaluation, and raise the standard of educational, academic and administrative processes, thereby contributing to the improvement of medical education outcomes and the development of university performance.
