The commemoration of the World AIDS Day last Wednesday, December 1, under the supervision of the Syndicate of Allied Medical Professions and with the participation of several parties, including the Gharyan Municipal Council, the Red Crescent Society Gharyan and Azir Hospital in Gharyan, as well as the participation of the Faculty of Medicine Gharyan in the presence of the Undersecretary for Scientific Affairs, the Head of the Medical Education Department and the Department of Study and Examinations.

Where the college participated in several lectures prepared by doctors and faculty members of the college, where Dr. Najia Al-Mahdawi gave an introductory lecture on the disease, ways to prevent it and the goals of reviving this day, and Dr. Najat Al-Aswad gave a lecture on advice on injury and the injured, and the lectures were concluded by Dr. Kalthoum Mehni by giving a lecture on injury statistics according to the latest developments from the National Center for Diseases, and this day witnessed a workshop under the title No to inequality and yes to ending AIDS with the participation of Several students from our college.
