The fourth practical seminar in the city of Gharyan

The Faculty of Medicine hosted a scientific symposium entitled: Factors affecting the safety and quality of olive oil in cooperation with Gharyan University. Where the seminar was presented by the international expert, Dr. Mariam Gharsalaoui, in the presence of a number of farmers, contemporary owners and those interested. Where the seminar was interactive between the attendees to exchange views and see the advanced experiences in the olive oil production process as well as answer all the observations and questions through which to reach a high quality product. On the sidelines of the seminar, the press of the Mishkat Company for Agricultural Production was visited to its owner Jalal Al-Mallushi to see the modern technologies used as well as the processes of pressing olive oil according to the standards and specifications that would produce virgin olive oil of high quality.
It should be noted that the Director General of the Export Development Center closely follows the work of the Committee for the Rehabilitation of Olive Oil for Export and emphasizes the continuity of work on the strategy set to achieve the goal, which is to increase Libyan exports to global markets due to its high competitive quality.
