Faculty of Medicine organises introductory forum for new students
On Thursday, 2 October 2025, the Faculty of Medicine organised an introductory forum for new students for the academic year 2025-2026, attended by the Dean of the Faculty, the Registrar, the Head of the Study and Examinations Department, academic supervisors, a number of faculty members and administrators.
The forum began with verses from the Holy Quran and the national anthem, followed by a welcome speech by the Dean, in which he expressed his happiness at the new students joining the Faculty, emphasising that studying medicine is not just an academic specialisation but a noble humanitarian mission that requires diligence, hard work and adherence to medical values and ethics. He also explained that the college will provide all academic and training opportunities, calling on students to invest in this stage to build their scientific and professional future.
The forum included an introductory presentation on the academic regulations, student activities and services provided by the college, a presentation by Professor Malak Al-Kalbash (goals and aspirations), and a discussion session to answer questions from new students.
The students then took a tour of the college facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, and other facilities.
This forum is part of the college's efforts to prepare new students to integrate into university life and enhance communication between them and faculty and administrators.
