On the occasion of the end of the academic year and final exams, and as part of the Faculty of Medicine's keenness to support awareness and community activities, the faculty organised a ceremony to honour students who participated in World AIDS Day events, which were held last December.

This tribute was in recognition of the students' outstanding efforts in organising awareness events, health activities and media campaigns aimed at raising community awareness about HIV, ways to prevent it and the importance of early detection.

The ceremony was attended by the dean of the college and a number of faculty members, who praised the students' spirit of initiative and commitment, emphasising that such participation contributes to strengthening social responsibility among medical students and qualifies them to be ambassadors of health education in the community.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were distributed to the participating students, amid an atmosphere of pride and appreciation for this humanitarian and scientific contribution.
