In a move that reflects a spirit of creativity and social responsibility, the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gharyan is proud of its outstanding students, who have succeeded in transforming a humanitarian idea into an innovative project addressing one of the most pressing contemporary issues: children’s mental health.

This achievement came about through the participation of a team of students from the Faculty in the global Hult Prize competition, with their unique project ‘Kanaf’, a digital platform dedicated to supporting children’s mental health by providing educational and interactive content that aids in the early detection of mental health issues and strengthens communication between children and their families.

The team comprised:

The team presented a model that reflects a deep understanding of the psychological challenges facing the younger generation, underpinned by a scientific approach and organised teamwork, thereby highlighting the role of university students as active agents in developing innovative solutions that have a real impact on society.

This achievement embodies the commitment of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Gharyan to supporting its students and providing an educational environment that encourages creative thinking and entrepreneurial initiatives, keeping pace with global developments and contributing to the building of a more aware and healthy society.
