Today, Monday, 16/12/2024, the Community Service and Environment Office at the Faculty of Human Medicine, Gharyan University, organized a scientific day on HIV prevention in cooperation with the National Center for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, Libya Office, in which several paragraphs were delivered, including welcome speeches, a number of related lectures and panel discussions in particular, and a group of specialists in the field of prevention and law participated in this scientific day, and the scientific day was attended by the President of the University and a group of faculty members, students and guests from The National Center for Disease Control, the Director of Gharyan Teaching Hospital, the Director of the Gharyan Disease Control Center Branch, a member of the Gharyan Municipal Council, the President of the Syndicate of Allied Medical Professions, the Libyan Midwives Association Gharyan and a large gathering of college students, and on the sidelines of the scientific day, an exhibition was held from the work of first-year and second-year students in the college, which simulates the methods of infection, prevention, signs of disease, peaceful nutrition and the rights of people living with the disease.
